Oakdale High School Football
The Oakdale High School football coaches are excited about the upcoming 2011 season.  There were
thirty-nine young men who went through spring practice, the most in a decade.  In a sincere effort to
create an effective program, Coach J.R. Voyles and his staff are putting into place several projects
meant to create more community involvement and awareness about the program.  Putting a high
school football team on the field for at least 10 games is expensive.  Oakdale is at a disadvantage
from the beginning because it is a small school with limited funds.  Despite the need for more financial
support, the Eagles have been able to get by.  However, getting by is no longer an option as safety
for the players is a top concern.  In an effort to address the needs of the football team,  several
fundraising projects are currently underway.  Follow the links below to learn how alumni and anyone
who loves Oakdale School and the school's sports programs can help.
