football photo:
"The school furnished a leather helmet, shoulder pads and pants, the players furnished a white sweat
shirt, we had no numbers, socks and shoes. I remember we played 4 games, one with Wartburg, one with
Harriman, one with Oak Ridge and I can't remember the other but it may have been Sunbright. Cannot
remember any scores, do remember going to Oak Ridge and they put a guard on the bus that stayed with
us until we left. "
